Privacy Policy

SageBuyr AI is an agentic buying intelligence platform for home services, operated by Technipresent Inc., incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws. By using SageBuyr AI, you consent to the practices described in this policy. Contact us at rajan@technipresent.com.

We collect information in three ways:

Buyer account and profile information. When you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. From your profile we may also collect your home city, home country, and preferred currency.

Research session content. We store the messages you send to our AI agent, your search queries, and the supplier results we generate for you. We also store research job metadata: timestamps, mode selected, and chat history associated with each session.

Authentication data. When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Supplier listing information. If you list services as a supplier, we collect your business name, service category, contact URL, verified status, listing date, and service tier.

Technical data. We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and operational purposes. Server logs are retained for 90 days.

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the SageBuyr AI platform
• Process your research sessions and generate supplier recommendations
• Personalise results based on your location and currency preferences
• Send transactional emails (account activation, updates)
• Send your session content to the Anthropic API for AI inference to power our platform
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations under PIPEDA and other applicable laws

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

We share your information only with the following trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

Anthropic API. Research session content (messages, queries) is sent to the Anthropic API (claude-sonnet-4-6) for AI inference. Anthropic retains this data for a maximum of 7 days under their commercial terms and does not use it to train their models.

Supabase. Your account data, research sessions, and supplier listings are stored in Supabase in the ca-central-1 region (Montreal, Canada).

Vercel. Our frontend is hosted on Vercel at Canada-proximate edge locations.

Resend. Used for transactional emails only. No marketing emails are sent without your explicit consent.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

Business transfers. If Technipresent Inc. is acquired or merges, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.

Buyer account and research data. Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Supplier listing data. Retained for the duration of your active listing and for a reasonable administrative period thereafter.

Server logs. Retained for 90 days.

Anthropic API. Data sent for inference is retained by Anthropic for a maximum of 7 days, then deleted.

Your primary account and session data is stored with Supabase in the ca-central-1 region (Montreal, Canada). This means your core personal data remains within Canada, consistent with PIPEDA requirements. AI inference via the Anthropic API involves data being processed outside Canada, subject to Anthropic's 7-day retention and no-training commercial terms.

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments. SageBuyr AI is currently in private beta and under active development. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach, as required by PIPEDA.

SageBuyr AI uses a single authentication cookie (sb-identity-token) to maintain your login session across our subdomains. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or equivalent tracking services. You can control cookie settings in your browser, though disabling cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

Under PIPEDA, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.
• Correction. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. Most profile data can be updated directly from your account page.
• Withdrawal of consent. Withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use the platform.
• Deletion. Request deletion of your account via your profile page or by contacting us.
• Portability. Request an export of your personal data.
• Complaint. Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights under PIPEDA have been violated.

SageBuyr AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Technipresent Inc. is based in Canada. Our primary data storage is in Canada (ca-central-1). AI inference via the Anthropic API involves processing outside Canada. By using SageBuyr AI, you consent to this transfer subject to Anthropic's commercial data terms. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all cross-border processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email when material changes are made and will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SageBuyr AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
